A Five-Dimensional Framework for the Integration of GenAI in Authentic Assessment
A blogpost about the webinar event that I delivered for ALT
On the 14th of May, I delivered a webinar for ALT (Association for Learning Technology) on A Five-Dimension Framework – or Five Steps Guide – for the integration of AI in authentic assessment. The number of attendees were 37 at some point, which was great.
It was great to deliver the webinar, and I saw a lot of engagement in the chat.
In HE, we think of AI as a tool for improving learning, teaching, assessment, research, and the productivity of our employees. However, we also need to think of AI as an instrument for democratising and making our universities fairer, giving all staff, regardless of grade, job title, or similar distinctions, the opportunity to take part in governance and decision-making processes regarding how we use AI in our institutions.
